Everything starts in the office. Our historic building in downtown Ashland is the hub for our administration, marketing, production, and senior management. In the Field

The field is the domain of our construction team, conquering all of central Virginia. Specifically, our field crew specializes in decks and screen porches. Our field crew is made up of skilled individuals who want to work outside or avoid spending their day at a desk. Building at Smallwood Renovations gives you the chance to stay moving while practicing carpentry, a trade we value as an old-world discipline.

In-Home Sales

We conduct all of our sales in person, making real connections with our customers. This personal sales process is focused on communication and customization. Our sales team is made up of dynamic personalities who spend time in the office for trainings and meetings and spend the rest of their time in customers' homes or with flexible working locations for paperwork and phone calls.
